ABOUT
Alto saxophonist, tenor, soprano, baritone and pianist. His musical beginnings are in Cuba, his native country. Where at the age of 9 he began his studies of piano and saxophone at the "José White" school, Camaguey.
His handling is imminent in jazz, his favorite genre due to the language and sensitivity it gives him. But it is not far behind with all other genres such as salsa, pop, cumbia or bachata.
He has been present in the most diverse stages of Chile and beyond. In 2016 he was part of the orchestra of the first Cuban musical performed in France, "Carmen la Cubana", directed by John Lee. Work presented at the Chatelet Theater, Paris.
His presentations with both national and international artists stand out: Andrea Tessa, Alex Anwandter, Mayito Rivera, Luis Enrique, Gepe, among others. Also his participation in different musical groups, both on stage and CD recordings and singles. He sat in the Valentín Trujillo orchestra in "Las Caras de la Moneda" and "We are Invitados", conducted by Mario Kreutzberger "Don Francisco".
In March 2020 he released his Latin Jazz album "Equilibrio", where the greatest exponents of Cuban music participated such as Alain Pérez (producer and bassist), Osain del Monte (percussion), Alexander Abreu (backing vocals), Samuel Formell (drums), Alejandro Falcón (piano), among others.
