BIOGRAPHY
Alto saxophonist, tenor, soprano, baritone and pianist. His musical beginnings are in Cuba, his native country. Where at the age of 9 he began his studies of piano and saxophone at the "José White" school, Camaguey.
His handling is imminent in jazz, his favorite genre due to the language and sensitivity it gives him. But it is not far behind with all other genres such as salsa, pop, cumbia or bachata.
He has been present in the most diverse stages of Chile and beyond. In 2016 he was part of the orchestra of the first Cuban musical performed in France, "Carmen la Cubana", directed by John Lee. Work presented at the Chatelet Theater, Paris.
His presentations with both national and international artists stand out: Andrea Tessa, Alex Anwandter, Mayito Rivera, Luis Enrique, Gepe, among others. Also his participation in different musical groups, both on stage and CD recordings and singles. He sat in the Valentín Trujillo orchestra in "Las Caras de la Moneda" and "We are Invitados", conducted by Mario Kreutzberger "Don Francisco".
In March 2020 he released his Latin Jazz album "Equilibrio", where the greatest exponents of Cuban music participated such as Alain Pérez (producer and bassist), Osain del Monte (percussion), Alexander Abreu (backing vocals), Samuel Formell (drums), Alejandro Falcón (piano), among others.
Luis García
Saxofonista alto, tenor, soprano, barítono y pianista. Sus inicios musicales se encuentran en Cuba, su país natal. Donde a los 9 años comienza con sus estudios de piano y saxofón en la escuela "José White", Camaguey. Su manejo es inminente en el jazz, su género predilecto por el lenguaje y sensibilidad que le otorga. Pero no se queda atrás con todos los otros géneros como la salsa, el pop, la cumbia o la bachata.
Ha estado presente en los más diversos escenarios del largo Chile y fuera de él. En el 2016 forma parte de la orquesta del primer musical cubano realizado en Francia, "Carmen la Cubana", dirigido por John Lee. Obra presentada en el Teatro Chatelet, Paris.
Se destacan sus presentaciones con artistas tanto nacionales como internacionales: Andrea Tessa, Alex Anwandter, Mayito Rivera, Luis Enrique, Gepe, entre otros.
También su participación en diferentes grupos musicales, tanto en escenarios como grabaciones de CD y singles.
Sesionó en la orquesta de Valentín Trujillo en "Las Caras de la Moneda" y "Estamos Invitados", dirigidos por Mario Kreutzberger "Don Francisco".
En marzo 2020 lanza su disco de Latin Jazz "Equilibrio", donde participaron los más grandes exponentes de la música cubana como Alain Pérez (productor y bajista), Osain del Monte (percusión), Alexander Abreu (coros), Samuel Formell (batería), Alejandro Falcón (piano), entre otros.
